We started as one of the personalization engine vendors, mainly focusing on large, brick & mortar enterprises facing challenges like, for example, missing tools / skills / capabilities of collecting and storing semi-structured and unstructured data, online-offline are disconnected, lack of segmentation skills and capabilities, marketers within their organization cannot effectively access data due to organizational silos, fragmented customer experience. In order to be able to effectively work with such large enterprises we combined our forces with Deloitte already at the very beginning.

During such projects we also learnt that more and more large enterprises try to "own" the solution to understand in details how Machine Learning works in terms of personalization, and to avoid any vendor lock or any other dependency.

This is true for those companies as well, where real-time personalization at scale is almost an inseparable part of the core business, for example, e-commerce stores, online marketplaces, online news sites, online video platforms, etc.
